According to The Sun, Bournemouth had already valued him at £75 million before the extension, and following several player departures during the transfer window, the club is unlikely to let him go without a fight.
Per Romano, over the past 24 to 48 hours, Tottenham have been active in exploring potential signings as the transfer window nears its end.
The club has shown interest in Lucas Paquetá of West Ham, a player they admire and previously targeted. However, with the market closing soon, completing a deal for him could prove challenging.
According to the Italian sports journalist, Tottenham are stepping up efforts to sign a new attacking player before next week’s deadline, following news that James Maddison will miss most of the season through injury.
Deals for Eberechi Eze and Morgan Gibbs-White collapsed earlier this summer, leaving Spurs searching for fresh options.
