Ernest Addo Mensah’s widow delivers tribute

Following the memorial service held in his honour, his wife, Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah's wife, Mercy Amoah, spoke to a Ghanaian blogger at the church.

She was asked to send a final message to her late husband and struggled to remain composed as she delivered an emotional message.

"I have missed you. May God keep you wherever you are. And may you watch over us and pray for us to walk in the Lord’s path until we meet again for eternity,” she said.

Addo Mensah’s widow was then asked to lay out his best quality, which she would miss the most, and she described him as the most thoughtful person she knew.

“He was very thoughtful. That was his most important quality. All those who know him can attest to the fact that he thinks about other people more than himself. He's always thinking about what can make you comfortable and make you progress, because he accepts that his partner's progress is his own progress,” she said.
