Rejoice Tsotso Bortei also alleged that Ralph St Williams physically assaulted her and left her with a dislocated shoulder and hand injuries that have hindered her ability to perform her duties as a nurse.
The Ridge Hospital nurse also accused the social media activist of defaming her by publicly dismissing her injuries as fabricated.
Ralph St Williams' alleged assault incident
The lawsuit against Ralph St Williams stemmed from the social activist's recent trip to the Ridge Hospital, where he slammed nurses for allegedly being negligent in their duties after he and some individuals brought a patient to the facility for medical treatment.
Following the visit, the Fix The Country protestor was accused of bringing some individuals to the hospital to physically assault the nurse.
The alleged incident angered the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association, which demanded Ralph St Williams' arrest.
Health Minister Kwabena Mintah Akandoh condemned the alleged incident and set up a committee to investigate the matter and submit its findings within a week.
