Reports indicate that the On God hit-maker had met his bail conditions and was set to leave the headquarters of the agency.
A video also shared by his PRO, Sammy Flex, on Facebook showed members of Shatta Wale's management and others, including retired footballer Prince Tagoe and former SM Militants member Captan, celebrating at the EOCO premises.
In a Facebook Story video, Sammy Flex officially confirmed the SM Boss's release to the numerous fans who had converged in front of the EOCO headquarters.
He also stated that Shatta Wale had secretly exited the premises and gone home, and was set to address the fans in a TikTok Live session.
Sammy Flex's announcement triggered a negative response from the disappointed fans, who had hoped to see the dancehall musician depart the premises with his team and other associates after his release from custody.
Most of them refused to believe the news and chanted that they had no intention of leaving the entrance of the EOCO headquarters late in the evening.
Yaw Boadu-Ayeboafoh on Shatta and EOCO saga
Speaking to YEN.com.gh, entertainment analyst Yaw Boadu-Ayeboafoh shared his thoughts on Shatta Wale's detention and release from EOCO's custody over the issues surrounding the purchase of his yellow Lamborghini Urus and how it could dent his brand.
He said:
"Economic crimes are a big deal, so when a star like Shatta Wale is detained, it has a big effect. It can potentially stall deals and put restrictions on him. I hope he clears this from his name quickly."

Why was Shatta Wale detained by EOCO?
In a press statement on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, the management of Shatta Wale announced that he had been detained by the Economic and Organised Crime Office in connection with investigations into the purchase of his 2019 Lamborghini Urus.
The dancehall musician's detention comes weeks after the agency visited his Trasacco Valley home and seized the car after a request from the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the US Department of Justice.
The security agencies had linked Shatta Wale's car to a Ghanaian man named Nana Kwabena Amuah, who is currently serving an 86-month (seven-year) jail term in the US over some financial crimes.
