Opoku Ware headed a convoy of luxurious vehicles containing executives of the Students Representative Council (SRC) of the Law School ahead of their swearing-in ceremony.

The Asantehene's son was elected President of the SRC in April when he overcame stiff competition from four other candidates.

Opoku Ware, a 2024 graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), polled 671 votes, ahead of Festus Tettey Matey, who secured 527 votes in the April 29 and 30, 2025 elections.

Other candidates included Michael Obiri-Adjei (379 votes), Benjamin Offei-Addo (278 votes), and Emmanuella Tetteh-Ashong (52 votes).

The newly elected SRC executives for the 2025/2026 academic year of the Ghana School of Law were sworn in on Friday, August 22, 2025.

Newly elected President, Nana Opoku Ware, caused a stir on the school’s campus as he arrived at the head of a convoy of sleek luxury cars containing the rest of his executive team.

Opoku Ware assumed office following his swearing-in with a team of executives making up the Ghana School of Law SRC Executive Council for the academic year 2025/2026.

Otumfuo's son speaks after SRC victory

Previously, YEN.com.gh reported that Nana Opoku Ware delivered a moving speech after securing victory in the Ghana School of Law SRC exams.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II's son was given a rousing ovation from hiscolleagues as he delivered his victory speech following the April 2025 elections.

Opoku Ware assured his colleagues that his SRC presidency would be an action-oriented one aiming to bring about transformational changes.
