Big Akwes’ Ex Angrily Spits Out Their Embarrassing Past, Recounts How Their Marriage Ended

The ex-wife of Ghanaian actor, Big Akwes, has courted attention after she shared a new account of how their marriage ended barely after a year.

The actor's former wife, Freda, who lives abroad, in a series of videos published on TikTok, lamented how her name had been dragged through the mud with false narratives.
In a video, Freda accused Big Akwes of marrying her just to secure citizenship status abroad and conduct his business.
She noted that the Kumawood actor allegedly attempted to charm her into doing his sinister bidding with dark magic.
"He had a secret powder he was applying to his face to charm me. But I urinated in it, so it was no longer working," Freda said.
In her account, Freda described how Big Akwes allegedly attempted to physically abuse her several times at home with a bottle.
Big Akwes and his ex tied the knot in a private ceremony in Kumasi in August 2023, before the couple called it quits some months later after experiencing some issues in their marriage.
Freda admitted that she got a hint of Big Akwes' alleged ugly habits even before she moved back to her destination abroad, but didn't act on it for fear of embarrassing him.
"I should have left the relationship with Big Akwes in Ghana...but I knew Ghanaians would mock him. Because of that, I brought him," Freda confessed.

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Freda had opened up about how the renowned Ghanaian comedian allegedly tricked her into marriage with a "fake and cheap" wedding ring.
In describing the ring Big Akwes gave her in 2023 when they tied the knot in a secret marriage, she lamented that it had become worn out.
She said what pained her the most was that she bought a very good ring for the occasion.
