Ghanaian media personality Matilda Adjoa Adu-Boateng, widely known as AJ Poundz, has penned a heartfelt farewell message to her fans after concluding her hosting duties on the popular show, Onua Showtime.
This transition followed the return of the show's main host, Nana Ama McBrown, who recently resumed her position after an extended break for health-related reasons.

Since stepping in as a temporary host in June 2025, AJ Poundz not only embraced the challenge but also earned acclaim for her dynamic presence, solidifying her status as a worthy substitute for McBrown, who is celebrated for her multifaceted talent and significant influence in Ghana's entertainment industry.
On her final episode, which aired on August 24, 2025, AJ turned heads in a stylish white glittering lace gown, a choice that reflected both her gratitude towards Media General, the show's production company, and her commitment to excellence in her role.
The elegant outfit symbolised her appreciation for the trust placed in her to fill Nana Ama McBrown's shoes during her absence.
In an emotional post shared on Instagram, AJ expressed her mixed feelings about the opportunity.
“Yes, I am a utility player, and I always make sure I deliver whenever I am called to step in for anyone at work @onuatv and @onua95.1fm. But when I had the call to sit in for Her Excellency, it brought about a whirlwind of emotions due to various factors, many of which I believe most of you understand.”

Her grand entrance was marked by a chic ensemble featuring a stylish long-sleeve denim top paired with form-fitting pants that accentuated her fashion sense.
In a viral video capturing the moment, McBrown showcased her signature dance moves, joyfully embracing her pundits and thanking them for their hard work and dedication in her absence.
